Oakley School is a growing all-through school with an exciting future. As our primary phase continues to expand year on year, we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who will act as the SENDCo and oversee inclusion and pastoral support. The successful candidate will help shape an inclusive culture where every child is supported to thrive. Working as part of the primary senior leadership team, you will lead SEND, inclusion and pastoral provision across the nursery and primary phases, combining strategic leadership with the opportunity to remain close to pupils, families and classroom practice. You will also provide leadership and oversight of the specialist resource provision (SEMH) on site, ensuring that specialist expertise strengthens inclusive practice across the wider school. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an SENDCo who is passionate about inclusion and is now looking to broaden their leadership impact. We are looking for someone with the expertise, ambition and values to make that next step, with the opportunity to help shape provision as the school grows. This role is 0.8fte, although a full time application would be considered.
